The Best Way to Learn Blues Guitar Is Up to the
Student
Everybody learns blues guitar
differently, and the best way to learn blues guitar for
you is not necessarily the best way for somebody
else.
Best way to learn blues
guitar
There are many ways to learn blues guitar, from lessons in
person, to lessons online, to even learning blues guitar from a
blues guitar DVD set.
Traditional to Untraditional
The best way to learn blues guitar in the past was to go
into the local music store and ask if they had anyone in the
store that could teach blues guitar. If the store did not
have someone, they could usually recommend a blues guitar
teacher since professional blues guitar players usually
frequent music stores.
In this method, the student would pay the teacher for weekly
or bi-weekly lessons on the fundamentals of blues guitar.
At the time, this was the best way to learn blues guitar since
the teach was an expert in the field and was right there to
answer any questions that the student might have.

In addition, the teacher could give valuable tips and
feedback each week so that the student could more rapidly
improve.
Although the traditional method is arguably still the best
way to learn blues guitar, there is another way that is similar
to it, only it uses an online method of teaching blues
guitar. The student must become a member of an online
blues community, of which there are professional blues guitar
players that offer lessons online.
Although some of these lessons might be taped for viewing at
any time, there are also teachers that will teach weekly
lessons, just like the traditional method, only done through
video cameras via video conferencing.
This is one of the best ways to learn blues guitar because
the teacher is still able to meet with the student each week,
see what he is doing, give immediate and valuable feedback on
technique, and assign lessons for the coming week.
A less interactive, but still one of the best ways to learn
blues guitar is a professionally done learning to play blues
guitar DVD set. Most of these sets that are valid have
more than ten DVDs within the set and cost around one hundred
fifty dollars.
This seems expensive, but lessons in person can cost as much
as fifty dollars per lesson, which makes the DVD set sound
cheap. The DVD method of learning is valuable because it
also gives a demonstration of all the skills, only this time
the student can watch the skills over and over again, rather
than having to wait until the following week.
